40 mm Bofors L/60 case - ID needed

Have a 40x411R for the Bofors L/60 which is marked:

40MM MK2 MW 7-1944 R.V. {anchor} LOT 836

Some questions:
MK2 is the US case model, right?
The MW letters are overlaid on each other in a circle. A maker's logo I guess, but which one?
R.V. plus anchor-symbol. No idea about this. Anyone else?

MK2 is the U.S. Navy designation for the cases that they used in their 40mm guns. Which would also go well with the Navy anchor.
