40mm AP-T

From what I understand this is a british 40mm AP projectile with a tracer. It looks like it has been painted black. Am I correct? Is it correct that the colours should be black with a white tip? Grateful for any information!

Not sure but MH/C could be a Canadian maker.
Yes, black body with white tipe and red band.
Add a yellow band on body for practice.

Same as yours, Canadian MkIVT Practice model with yellow band on body :
