Here is a recent purchase, 40mm L/70 Bofors projectile and fuze. Unfortunatly the fuze has no insides but still a nice display piece.

Hi Darren thanks for showing your projectile, you could finish that one off nicely with a case. L70 cases can be bought reasonably cheaply. The link below shows a sectioned L70 including the case to give you ideas.

I was thinking about getting a case for it and cutting it at some point, as you say it would Finish it off a treat.
