40mm references

G'day guys,

I just got back from another trip to Vietnam, and picked up several 40mm cases (4x LV, 1xHV). They spurred some interest in US 40mm ammo - can anyone recommend some good reference material?

Vietnam War era info, as I have some modern material. But either would be good; always looking to expand the reference library.

TM 43-0001-28 is available from a number of sources for free on the net, and maybe as a download from BOCN. It has a section on all the 40mm grenades, but the most recent versions from the last 10 years aren't available. Google TM 43-0001-28

Anything with more specifics on manufacturers, case types etc?

TM 9-1310-202-12 (October 1969) is specific to cartridges M386, M441, M397
TM 3-1310-243-10 (January 1975) is specific to cartridges M651
TM 3-1310-244-10 (September 1968) is specific to cartridges XM674, XM675
TM 9-1010-221-14 (April 1970) for general cartridge information
FM 23-21 (May 1972) for general cartridge information

I do not believe that there is a single reference that covers 40x46MM Manufacturer(s) Information.
