42cm Bertha- powder bag hooks

Hi. After some advice. I’m aware big Bertha cases ( necked down) had 4 hooks in the base to hold the propellant in. But was it practice for the Germans to remove them ?

Also does anyone know if the hooks where screwed in or clipped in to the base of the case?

Managed to turn my example over! Photograph of the hook as requested.

Thankyou do they rotate in place or do they remove easy or not? A nice fella has sourced me a case. Only issue is the hooks are not in place, the holes are there and in ok condition. But no hooks.
And I’m trying to figure out how they are fixed in place

Tried the hooks tonight, they screw in. Of the 4 two were finger tight and the others very tight!

Thankyou that’s what I hoped. Can you please take a picture of the threads and the hook threads? Only if it’s possible.
