Thanks for the information. It wasn't clear in the pictures that it was a base fuze! It looks convex, which is unusual. I can't think of any reason why the projectile is painted and stencilled as per British fashion if there is no connection.Hello,
Vickers ceased the joint venture in 1922. Base fuze it's made in 1940 by ENZ (Austria)
Some docs shows Italian firm SMI made cases for Latvia in 1937. As for Romania, 47x195 and Hungarian 37x250 there was a joint venture from SMI, BPD and other italian factories for production of export ammunition.
I have no data about color code used except for the yellow romanian shell.
