47mm Nordenfelt

Howdy BOCN,

Picked up a 47mm Nordenfelt projectile, minus fuze. It has the typical early copper coating & some small markings as pictured.

Has anyone any information on this type of projectile, what fuze it used & what cart case it would have used please?

Thanks for the photos. The 47mm Nordenfelt has escaped my attempts to find info on it and your photos are the first I have seen. I have examples of 38,42 and 57mm rounds but not hide nor hair of the 47. Also, your projectile is nose fuzed, all other I have seen are base fuzed. Thanks again, the Otter
