HONOURED MEMBER RIP
I was shown this projectile at our last meeting, no one could identify this projectile, it measures about 45mm long & is .496" diameter of the hard steel front section & measures .512" diameter on the rear copper section, it is professionally made & no markings at all.
Any ideas what it may have come from?

I actually have no idea what that is, but there were several variations of the Cal .60 that were AP with similar brass or copper base cups such as the one you show. Have you checked the H,W,S books for similar projectiles?
