50kg bomb release and charging unit

Thought I'd share a few pics of a recent addition, a German 50kg bomb release and charging unit.

I don't have much information about these, all I know is it is for a 50kg, so if anyone has any further information about what aircraft it was used on etc I'd be very grateful.

Its obviously ground dug but I liked it as it appears to be the complete unit. Needs some tlc!!!

Have you come across these before on your travels waff?
This is the first one I've seen, though to be honest I stumbled upon it. I've not really looked for them so just wondered if they were out there?

Kudos to Tony for the drawing i reckon.

Well Kev,ive only seen bits of these for sale and not a complete unit.
You need to display it on a 50 kilo with fuze attached.

Here's one I acquired recently. Iron parts rusted and siezed but there is some movement in the alloy-cased charging mechanism. I'd be interested in details of the electrical device which the 7-pin plug connects to.
