Thanks for the foto. I didnot realise that the 6 Pdr ''survived'' WWII and was also used later on. I believe you even got some of the US versions. Do you have drawings or official names of it??

Yes the 6pdr survived till well after WW2 the APFSDS round in the photos is round they where experimenting with between 1980 86 at Birtley for export.
The US round in the photos are
57mm G TP M76
57mm G APC-T M86
57mm G Drill M22
57mm G APC-T M86 early version with base plug not a fuse
There are other US rounds

HE-T T18
HE-T M303
Canister T17
Drill M24
AP-HC ( APCNR ) Experimental Gerlich squeeze bore shot

Here are my 2 6pr practice rounds that my father retrived from the Canadian army in WW II. They are Canadian made and I hDSC_0612.jpgave info on the shot and shell makers but would like to know who made the cardboard containers if you can help.
