APCBC-T = Armor Piercing Capped Ballistic Cap - Tracer. I am very interested in the XT. That part is new to me, but I am only a novice at UK ammo.

It's actually XI..the bottom of the letter I has been omitted. So, model eleven. I have one XVT...which is obviously XVI..again, the bottom of the letter omitted.

I think "XT" is for Mk10 Tracer ("T" for tracer) and not a "I" for Mk11.

NCFG sould be for manufacture.

NCFG is New Crown Forgings Glasgow, a subsidiary of Stewarts and Lloyds Ltd.

At the outbreak of WWII, Stewarts and Lloyds set up a number of new works to manufacture shot and shell under the name New Crown Forgings, and projectiles were accordingly marked, so NCFB for Bilston, NCFL for Landore, NCFN for Newport, etc.
