64 x 168 mm Odd one this. Please help.

Please help with this odd case. The caliber is approximately 64 mm, but has a slight lip in the mouth, I think it was loaded with a wad.

It also has an indentation approx. 33 mm below the mouth. The indentation is then quite evident for approx. 20 mm.

Case length: 168 mm

I think it may be Navy related.

Can't figure the primer out. Percussion or electric.
 
65 DE M is the real text = 65 mm De Montagne = French mountaingun Model 1906, very common in Europe. Case is dated 1917.
Primer is missing the last part, is percussion.
 
I see no crimping ;-). It is a slightly necked case, deformed after the shot.
