Maybe you have seen this projectile before and can shed some light on it. It's resembling the Swiss lead coated projectiles. This beast is 63mm (lead) or 57mm (bottom) in diameter and 15cm high. There is no threading for the fuze - so maybe an unfinished one?
I have a similar shell in my collection. It is a practice shell with a wooden plug and filled with sand.
In 1877 the Dutch army purchased two 6 cm guns for trials from the company Gebr. Sulzer in Winterthur. One gun still remaines in the collection of the Dutch Artillery museum near Oldebroek.
It has a bronze barrel and was drawn by 4 horses. The Dutch designation was "Kanon van 6 cm A". (A = Achterlaad = Hinterlader = Breechloader).
The gun was rejected by the army in favor of the steel barreled 57 mm Krupp gun, which entered service in 1899.
