I show for interest an unusual WWI 6pr drill round. Unusual in that it has a short wood 'projectile' and the retaining screws, whilst original to the piece, are not standard, The projectile also has a distinct 'P', the round is weighted and the base has the radial marks consistent with repeated action in the gun. When I first saw this I thought it might have been trench art, but I am happy that there are enough positives to make it original.
