Hi, I think I have a German mountain gun shrapnel projectile, would the brass cartridge I also have Be used
with this particular projectile?
Can see no markings on projectile but the case has
bendorf, 1916,7.5mm m15 and a few other stamps but are tiny, one is wdf

thankyou in advance

Hello,

I can't see well the fuze but this one looks like an autro-hungarian M1908.
The band is typical of 7.5Geb (Skoda).
I'm really not a specialist in cases but I think markings could be for Austro-Hugarian use.
Maybe "Fert" could help more.
Regards

Evening, thank you for the info guys, much appreciated. So the cartridge and projectile are one complete round. I bought the projectile separate and had the cartridge from many years ago.
