Greetings,
Can anyone tell me the origins & manufactures of this 7.62x39mm ball round?

7.62 x 39

The short answer is that I do not know.

However, the characters at 12 o'clock are "39" and those at 4 o'c are "77". The ones at 8 o'c are possibly "59" but I am not sure about the deeply impressed left hand character.

Not a lot of help I am afraid!

dent!

Hi TonyE,
the deep marking is a extraction/ejection "dent",but I must admit it looks like a ^,not the best photo!

Arab ?

I strongly suspect that its origens may lie in an Arab country as it is very similar to some 12.7's I once had from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Arabic

Since the headstamp is in Arabic, I think we can say that is a given......
