70 x 63R 7 cm Model 99

I found the British Broad Arrow on this case quite interesting.

70 x 63 R 7 cm Mod 99. This calibre appears in Jan Janssens book.

Head stamp: Wdf (very faint, George Roth logo) 4 /I\ 1914 26 7cm M99

Wdf = Wollersdorf, Austria.

Any ideas as to why the broad arrow was used on this case?

Good question, especially with 1914 production date. Maybe captured and used by commonwealth troops?
