75 SA 49 French Drill Round (75 x 350R)

A recent addition to the drill round collection.

75 x 350R (75 SA 49) Drill. From what I believe this was the cartridge for the early (1951 - 1953) French 75 mm Panhard Armoured Vehicle before the 90 mm Gun was introduced.

The wooden oak case was originally painted green. The fuze is missing, but a M24 thread would fit. The brass case appears to be an American, reworked M18.

Does anyone have a similar item or photo. I would like to source or manufacture a fuze for this item.

Hi Minenaz.

I was hoping that you would be able to shed more light. The style of crimping and the base cut out is similar to other 75 mm French drill rounds I have seen.

For this gun I know shell series model 1951, model 1952, etc, but I have no doc on early rounds.
The drill round model 1951 is made with one metal piece.
