The attached is I believe a French Naval shell case.
Concave base.
Does anyone have any information on the projectile types, or photographs of specimens in their collections?
Dave.
The official caliber was 75 x 687 R. The gun was also used by Poland and as a captured gun by the Germans as 7,5 cm Flak L/59 (p) or 7,5 cm SK C/33. A steel case was manufactured by Polte for the German navy. I only have some info on the Polish cartridge and the German case.
