Good day you all!
Today i was fortunate to find 2 different types of containers for the 75mm..
Both metal tubes have inside the paper container.
One set is for SMOKE and the other for HE.
Stencil outside dated July and August 1945.. The paper tubes dont have dates.

Is this an actual war time material or considered post war ??

(yes these on the back are metal 40mm US Navy Bofors casings.. 1944 dated!!
if anyone interested let me know!)

Nice containers! Hard to answer your question, since the container is dated August of 1945, and the nukes were dropped in August of 1945. All of the components would have been made during the war, not after. I'm guessing you would call them war material.
