75mm shrapnel Greek

I would say no. The marks on the drive band look Cyrillic to me, but deviate from what I typically see/recognize.

The marks are a the Greek letters Xi, Phi and Chi - not Cyrillic.
Although the Cyrillic alphabet was created on the basis on the Greek alphabet there are differences in the letters "borrowed " from the Greek alphabet - one is the Xi facing rightwards in Greek , as is the case here, while a similar letter in Cyrillic faces leftwards (the Cyrillic letter Ze, which is in fact derived from the Greek letter Zeta and not from the Xi, thence the difference ) .
Thus is indeed a Greek shell case.
