Hi all this is my 76/62mm (3") oto melara shell , i am not 100% positive so correct me if i am wrong ..the shell case is italian marked (SMI) . .societa metallurgica Italiana. .
the projectile markings have . 76/62 DIS 15110 2 BPD 84.... as well as the white stencils......

FUZE MARKINGS ARE .... DUMMY FUZE OP 76 MOD 1/TB76 1-BPD-84 ...

Does anyone have any more info on the markings i think the projectile is italian as well but could be wrong ..

I have found a little information that BPD were involved in making the oto melara ammunition . thats is what i was looking for if BPD were involved in the oto melara munitions as they got bought over in 1968 . and this projectile correct me if i am wrong is 1984 .

MOM: developed by OTO (Multirole OTO Munition), but this model was dropped after the comparison with the PFF made by BPD

Cheers Ken
