Thanks to the advice of pzgr40:adore: , I made this cut. A 77 geschoss with its zinc fuze.
I also have a steel fuze and I may try internal cutting but it is complex.

I modeled myself on a vintage plate from the French archives.

A 77 geschoss with its zinc fuze.

It's name is "7,7 cm C-Geschoss" (like written in the drawing).

And well done, just on the lower end it seems you came out of center some mm. Most important: you didn't paint the cut surfaces colorful. I not really like painted cut surfaces, want to see the metal :)

Did you find manufacturer stamps on the inner side of the shell?

Ah it is on Alpini a few millimeters on this type of surface is possible.
But with a simple hacksaw, the result is still acceptable. The result is more acceptable for the community in France ...
I don't want to show you the different my different scrapnels.

Anyways, thank you :tinysmile_twink_t2:

I know the hacksaw work very well ;-). Doing such a work is like a quality test for good saw blades. But flatten the hacksaw cut with a file is sometimes the biggest work. My first sections were as straight as a banana :)
