7cm M/99 Cartridge dimensions

What were the dimensions of the cartridge case for the Austro-Hungarian 7cm M/99 Mountain Gun? The gun is shown at the link below.

I have been given these dimensions:

Case Mouth: 74mm

Case Length: 63mm

Rim diameter: 82mm

Are these correct?

Here is a photo of the headstamp. I presume the case should be longer than 63mm or is it one of those short mountain gun style cases?

your case has the right length ;-) AZF = Artillerie Zeugs Fabrik in Vienna (today home of Austrias "Heeresgeschichtlisches Museum")

Curious, I've got the same case dated 1914 also with the double broad arrow. 2pr

Alpini: Thanks for that. I was a bit confused as it was not listed in my list of cases. Was this a separately loaded gun as the primer tube appears to come nearly up to the top of the case.

Can you identify this other Austro-Hungarian headstamp? I have never found anything on this one.

Clive: Perhaps we captured a load of them and bought them back for evaluation and they were marked with the double arrow when sold off as scrap. Don't you also have a German 77x230R with the double broad arrow and "SOLD" stamped on the case head?

yes, the 7 cm M.99 was always a separate loading gun...

Unfortunately I didn't get this. It was an ebay auction. The max bid I put on was 8 and it went for 8.50.
