8.8cm KWK43

Hello everybody, i just got this kwk43 round, is the paint on the shell original?! looks too much metallic black instead of the matte black i used to see on the panzergrenades... any opinion?

Any remains of markings in red paint?
I do agree with Kees, has quite a gloss to it.... I would be surprised if it was original paint.... but never say never.

thats what i think aswell, now i cant see the item personally but i will soon.. the only thing i know is that it looks too much different from the other one i had. also as far as i know germans used to paint driving bands aswell

Also, the KwK 43 usually has very rounded rotating bands, whereas the top one on this projo looks to be flat with square corners.
