A complete guess, but it could be sub-caliber adapters for a recoiless rifle. A quick goggle search didn't turn up anything to support my guess though.
Yes sorry for the lack of info but these things are on the other side of the country in some one else's collection who is not really conversant with ammo.
They were offered to me but are very expensive so doubt if I will be able to ever see for myself.
I did ask the owner if they were hollow, as a sub cal device was my first thought also. they are only hollow for about 50mm at the front with a plunger device down inside (owners description).
I will try to have another round with the owner to see if I can get any markings from the items.
