I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what this is from, might not even be military. It just had the looks of a practice projectile. It's is of steel construction and the top seems to be made of lead. Any help would be appreciated ps it's about 70mm talk and at it's widest about 45mm.

Ok that would make sense as it's right near a road. It just had the look of a projectile, thanks for the quick reply spotter
