This is an inert U.S. Korean War 90mm HE tank round that is kinda scarce to come across. These were used in the post war M26E1 Pershing mounting the T54 gun, the M48 Patton and the M56 Scopion self propelled anti-tank gun. A couple unique features of the projectile were the steel rotating bands and the protruding tracer boss at its base. The inscription on the projectile reads: BHE- 1-2-1952-90MM-T91 while the brass casing reads: 90MM T24 1953 LOT NO SCV2-2. The T24 casing is identical to the M108. The MT/SQ M500A1 fuze is also dated 1953. The shells dimensions are identical to the much more common M71 HE.
