I think it's the early version (before Mle 1930 shown by Yoda) of the French bomb Flare Michelin (VM series). Era WW1 and 20's.
The bomb is fitted with a special time fuze (see picture).
At the end of WW1 US made a bomb like this one (Flare Mark 1) :
