It looks like the fuze/tracer has been cut off at the base.

The general shape and measurments make me think to an austrian shell Böhler type.
The HE round M35 I know is quite different on top (no external thread). This thread seems to be made for a cap.

47mm Bhler shell

Hi, these measure 195 mm (so Italian) not sure how these end up on a flea market in Belgium however... Can someone confirm by these markings. I read MI and GP. Is the production year 1940 ? Are these "rare" or collectable?

It could be thought to be an ‘EP’ (shaped charge). These are 47 Italian EP. But the fuze is in the nose, not in the base.

Did you try to screw the cap in the shorter one?
Wath is the internal diameter of the shell?

This one has the internal fuse at the bottom, but the cup is closed. The one in my photo is an EPS. I’ll take photos and measurements tomorrow.
