hi all .just thought i would post this little bit of restoration .thought it was a shame to leave it as it was .i think someone used a wirewheel on the thing . couldnt do much about the dents but im quite pleased with it

hi paul and thanks .ive managed to age it with a solution of 90% hydrochloric acid and 10% liquid metal blacking . its more watery than gunblue and mixes exellent with the acid .i painted it on and washed it off after 30 seconds .
