Abused 13 Pr ~

I obtained this American made contract 13pr over a year ago. It had
been painted black. I removed the paint and it was nickel plated.
I could see that there were markings faintly. It took quite a few tries
to remove the heavy plating but I finally got it to the base metal,
It had of course been polished prior to plating as usual. But
the majority of the markings are visible and a few letters of
the maker can be sort of made out, plus some inspection marks.
13 Pr's are hideously difficult to find in spite of the numbers made
over here, they just don't show up like the 18prs. But now at
least it is presentable. Of course I can use another one as
I now have both types of casing~
