Also, I visited the offbase China Lake Museum back in 2022 (tiny, huge disappointment, really hopping they get all the good stuff offbase soon/.actually let people visit the base). Anyways, according to the museum, the well-known "AIM-9 as antitank weapon" picture of the missile about to hit a tank was actually a laser-guided Sidewinder used to prove the concept of laser guidance
