Does anybody have any more information on this 1945 dated American projectile please? Length (without fuze) is 25cm. The following markings are stamped into the body just in front of the driving band, 'LOT -NT-1-1945-3IN-T18-PILOT-C-Flaming Bomb logo'. Thank you.

This round must have added confusion to the late war development people since there was another T18 being tested in 1945, the T18, T18E1 and T18E2 (later M303) 57mm round for the anti tank gun. I have no information on yours, but the top rotating band with the flange is very similar to the 76mm (yes, 3") rounds used for the M41 Walker Bulldog. If I'm not mistaken, I think someone here showed a developmental 76mm T19 casing that was a cut down and shoulder re- formed from a 3" 50cal overstamped with T19 and dated around your time frame. Very interesting piece. Thank you.
