There can be some slight variation in manufacture too. Both of these are M 110s.

Hi, I think this is probably my first post on here....

I am an archaeologist from the UK, living and working in Bavaria. Currently I am digging on a Roman site which is located next to a former munitions factory. We have had 17 of these guys dealt with with by the local Sprengmeister. This one was dealt with today :
