another Id for spotter please

Come across a few of these at work yesterday,have no idea what they are ,or are from ,,Tracers ? Parts of fuzes or what,,,no markings at all,,any help welcome..thanks for looking spotter

I can answer this one. It is the front nose piece from an M557 US PDSQ fuze. I have attached an image for you to see the piece in the cutaway diagram. We will often find them as well as the base piece without the windshield on old impact areas.
