A bit battered but didnt clean up to badly,will make a nice paperweight

hello MS ,because it was fairly solid i just chipped off the big lumps of rust etc then used a cup brush on a angle grinder,only takes 10 mins to clean to metal,quick spray with zinc primer finished with matt black paint,
when ive done a full restoration before ,ive done all the above steps ,then after the matt black i applied a coat of walnut coloured varnish this gave it that mills grenade varnish colour
 
changed it a little bit..far from perfect but a lot better than when i got it
