Greetings to all.
So what is this?
A plastic sleeve 11x8.05x12.3mm holding a rimfire blank.
The blank is similar to a normal .22
5.6mm outside mouth
9.6mm long
6.6mm rim diameter
Not a nail gun blank, some have plastic around them for certain models. The name Spit would add to the clue from a Spit gun. Also looks similar to a smoke gren primer, most being centre fire today, the No,83 was rim fire.
Looks like a power cartridge for a nail gun. Different colours meant different penetrative capability: e.g. brick, concrete, steel. I think there was a thread about this maybe 8 years ago.
