Well it's an improvement on my first example having readable markings but that is about it !
Maybe from the same lot and maker whom ever that is. Any coments welcome. These MK Xlls
are not easy to find here so I have to put up with this until hopefully a decent one shows up.

Short Mk XII shells are the most common found in Australia, albeit usually fired. I rarely bother with them these days unless they are by an interesting maker. Seems these late war shells were ones easily found for souvenirs to bring home when it became apparent we (the Allies) were going to win the war.
