I was honoured to be asked to contribute to this program, filmed in February 2024. I was able to take my Mk VI balloon along. It was undergoing restoration and repair at the time hence we could not inflate it. It was lovely to be able to show the descendants of American Ant-aircraft Balloon Barrage Battalion an example of the balloon used on D-Day at Omaha Beach.
