found this artillery case at a farm ?
thought it might be of intrest to you artillery guys
it belonged to a major I W Kaye then promoted to L COL I W Kaye .
on front cover of signal message book it reads india army form X-1847
dont know if this is a date or just code no .
the pencils are my favourit they are dated and marked
star of india red and blue made in madras 1940 with crow foot mark
F N gooptu & co drawing pencil 1939 -40 with crow foot mark
on the form in the message book it reads call and instructions in and out ?
is this to do with shells ?
