[FONT=&quot]The British “A” ground mine has assembly-numbers (ASS or ASY) beginning with a letter and then some numbers. For example B234, E502, F616, and so on.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Only in the Operations Record Book of 207 Squadron RAF in June 1942 is mentioned ASS 22 and ASS 1/5 and ASS 1/6.[/FONT]
