Hi, these were used in the Pacific Islands during WW2. The fuze pistol has an internal striker similar to a Mills Bomb. It has camouflage paint (black and two shades of green). Enjoy

some information on the Switch/Pistol used on this mine here. There is an adaptor for this trip mechnaism so it could be put on a shell and make a larger boobytrap.
