B167 for No.77 Grenade specifics

I am restoring and repainting a B167 container for the No.77 Mk1 Grenade (White Phosphorus).
In an older thread by LcplCombat I have seen a photo of a B167 for the Mk2 which has white and red stripes painted horizontally on the corners of the container.

Can anyone tell me what these stripes mean and if such would be fitting for the No.77 Mk1 WP?

The is a member here Fjordhouse who sells ordnance at the war and peace show, he was selling a lot of mint 77 grenades and he had the boxes for them.

Known as "distinguishing colour bands" to identify the filling:
Red and white for FM [titanium tetrachloride, as used in the Mark II]
Just white for WP
