B61 Bomb Tail

Diameter: 340 mm (13.4" )
Length:3321 mm (10' 10 3/4") from "nose to end of casing"
Overall length "from nose to tail fin-tip": 3593mm (11' 9 1/2")
The difference is 272mm but what exactly is covered by that is not clear.
The estimated tail length for both B61-7 (regular tail) and B61-11 (guided tail) is 1500m (almost half the overall length of the bomb as can be seen on the following diagrams)
Tail fins span: 571mm (22.5")
