Hi there every one i have a Gammon Grenade and the only markings i can find is on the bakelite parts which starts with INS then number does any one know the manufacturer is as would like too date the Grenade...... Dave
 
Dave,

Insulators Ltd, Leopold Road and Angel Road, Edmonton, London. They had contracts in 1941, 1942 and 1943 for the Bakelite safety cap, closing cup and mechanism holder. Total output of just over 1.5 million of each of the three items.
