Base Fuze housing?

Hello everyone,
got this piece this weekend along with the 6pdr projectile I have also posted. I have no idea what it is, but if I had to guess it would be from a projectile base fuze. No markings, solid brass with some type of laquer coating. Its approximately 105mm in length and 60mm wide at on the large rim. If any other details are needed I can provide them.

I was sent this by a friend, it looks like the exact same housing I have. Anyone know what it is? I assume its a bomb fuze of some type and not a base fuze like I thought.

Might be for a Hedgehog type munition.
