I had a facebook message,the BBMF Lancaster suffered an inflight engine fire,the aircraft was landed safely,no injuries,the fire was extinguished on the ground,assesments are being made as to the damage,

hopefully not too much damage, in the war this would have been a common sight.

A little late to the party, but here is a few pictures sent to me by a friend in the UK (also a member here, 8.8Zunder44, used with posted with his permission) great pictures though and I was told the damage is not to bad and should be fixed fairly easily.
