Hi, I have come across a document in the NA referring to SP11 Beach mines. It comes from an assessment by RE of a local minefield in Feb 1942 to fill gaps caused by the weather and concludes with a request for 492 SP11 beach mines for this purpose. It is dated Feb 1942.
I know the Type C Beach mine was commonly used for early war beach minefields but can find nothing about a type SP11. Does anyone know of this type of mine? Thanks.
