I know our American friends have a very dim view of the TV series "Pawn Stars" but they had a mint Beano grenade on one of the programmes the other night & gave the guy $1600 for it . Can't be all bad !
I like the show. They do a very good job of explaining items and explaining to someone why their item "might" be worth $2000 but they are only being offered $700 for it.
All kinds of "militaria" is bought on pawn stars and there is usually at least a rudimentary historical story told with individual pieces especially when their "experts" are called in to further identify a piece. Dano
